Bavarian International School
Haimhausen campus is situated in a beautiful park-like setting with fields and woods surrounding the school premises. The focal point of this campus is the Haimhausen Schloss, a centuries old castle, which creates a very unique learning environment. The BIS city campus offers primary students a central Munich location and access to all the cultural offerings the city has to offer. The Bavarian International School was established in 1990 to offer an English language based education to children from the international community in the north of Munich. In January 2016, the BIS City Campus on Leopoldstrasse 208 in Munich opened its doors to students in Early Childhood (EC1, age 4) to Grade 5. The school’s current combined enrolment of 1090 students represents over 45 nationalities, with approximately 75 students in the graduating class. City Campus is a candidate school for the Primary Years Programme and is pursuing authorization as an IB World School.
