Tally Pilates in Valencia was founded by Tally Hershko, originally from Israel and now based in Spain. She is passionate about movement and living a healthy lifestyle. She encourages people to move to feel stronger, healthier and happier. Tally’s goal is to motivate women to stay active by creating a community, the foundation of which is support and Pilates. Her classes are in English and she caters for all levels.
She offers Pilates classes for pregnant women and for women after giving birth and mums are encouraged to come along with their babies. Being a mother herself she knows how difficult it is to find time for yourself once you have a new born baby or toddler. She hopes international women will come and connect with other women and help their body to adjust to the changes when pregnant and after
“My Pilates journey started 16 years ago, when I was pregnant with my first child and I was looking for a workout that I can do while being pregnant that would help me preserve my strength and mobility and to be able to resume activity after giving birth. I fell in love with this method and learned to appreciate it and I’ve been doing Pilates ever since.
Prenatal Pilates is a great exercise method that helps to physically prepare a mother for birth. Postnatal Pilates allows you to gradually recover from the birth with the focus on strengthening those specific body parts that are weakened rather than increasing aerobic fitness and weight loss.
