Agora Portals is the largest private school on the island of Mallorca, and was the first on the island to offer offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program.
About
Agora Portals International School opened in 2008 and is part of the NACE schools group. It is at heart a Spanish school but offers a bilingual education with strong linguistic immersion on both Castellano Spanish and English. It’s secondary school was the first in the Balearic Islands to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program. Students entering sixth form (ages 16-18) can choose whether to study for the national Spanish Bachillerato qualification or the IB Diploma Program, opening the door to international university applications.
Senior students can also choose to study both the Bachillerato and the IB, and the school has a 100% pass rate for additional the Spanish university entrance examinations and the IB Diploma.
Agora Portals places great emphasis on multilingual education and offers first-class sporting facilities. The education they give is marked by their commitment to educational innovation and high academic and social performance. Agora takes children from infancy through to age 18 years of age. Music is considered vital for a balanced education so all students study at least one musical instrument and all primary school students also spend one term learning to sail, taking advantage of the location close to Puerto Portals.
Fees

Admissions
All families interested in joining the school are asked to request an appointment by filling in an online form or calling +34 971 68 40 42 from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00.
Once the formal admission application has been completed, depending the year group a student is enrolled in, students are invited to complete admission tests.
The school is also offering Virtual Open Days in both Spanish and English.
Location
The school is located in the municipality of Portals Nous, and is a 15 minute drive from Palma de Mallorca.
