AIS International School

AIS International School is located in a unique natural setting between Alfaz del Pi, Altea, Benidorm and La Nucia in Alicante province. The British National Curriculum enhanced by the AIS educational model incorporating Steiner Waldorf pedagogy and Mindfulness is taught to educate children from age 6 to 18 years. Its pioneering and innovative education, led by Head teacher, co-founder and concert violinist, Anja Traub, incorporates mindfulness and an adaptation of the Steiner Waldorf education. The principle of this orientation is that children learn relevant to their age, with individual attention that allows each child to be able to explore and exploit their own potential for each subject. The creative thread runs throughout all subjects, while at the same time achieving excellent academic results and using co-operative learning to support socio-emotional development.

The historic natural stone building and its surrounding recreational outdoor areas provide an environment where children can enjoy being and intertwining their learning outside while being inspired by nature.
