Ambrit International School provides the IB programmes for primary and middle school pupils aged 3 – 14 in Rome.
Ambrit is an authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) school, teaching the Primary Years Program (PYP) and the Middle Years Programme to pupils from age 3 to 14. The IB programs provide opportunities for learners to construct meaning, principally through concept-driven inquiry.
The Middle School curriculum includes all the MYP subject groups: Language and Literature, Language Acquisition (Italian, French, Mandarin, and Spanish), Mathematics, Science, Individuals and Societies, Arts, Design and PHE. The school also offers after-school activities, including sports and music groups, as well as the Montessori Model United Nations, a film club, a Shakespeare club, and more.
The main language of tuition is English, with with Italian, French, Mandarin, and Spanish offered as additional languages. The school is home to over 400 students representing more than 50 nationalities.

Admission is open to all students of all nationalities. Native English-speaking students are accepted throughout the school, and native Italian-speaking student are accepted provided one parent speaks English, or at higher levels if they have attended at least 3 years of school abroad and don’t require English language support.
