The American School of Milan offers an American education & the IB Diploma in English for pupils aged 3-18.
The American School of Milan is an independent, co-educational college preparatory day school founded in 1962. ASM is accredited through the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and is an IB World School offering the Diploma Program since 1983.
The school offers an English-speaking, American-style education. The school prepares its Upper School pupils for the rigorous IB Diploma Program, which is recognised by higher education institutions across the world. the school enhances its curriculum with Italian language instruction for native speakers and second-language learners. The school offers learning support for students with mild to moderate learning needs in grades K-5 and offers English as a second language (ELL) for students who are developing their English proficiency.
Currently school enrollment is over 900 students and there are more than 100 full-time faculty employed.
The elementary school integrates iPads to prepare students for the 1:1 laptop program that begins in Grade 6. The school also offers 3D design, robotics, digital art and photography and film courses in their ultramodern film studio. There is Wi-Fi campus wide.
