The American Library in Paris

The American Library in Paris is the largest English-language lending library on the European continent. Open to all, the Library serves as a centre for literature, learning, culture, and community. The Library is open Tuesday to Saturday, from 10h00 to 19h00 and Sundays, from 13h00 to 19h00 September through June. There are special events for children and teenagers throughout the year as well as the Young Authors Fiction Festival (YAFF) open to all students ages 5-18 in the greater Paris area who write in English.

    The library holds a variety of events for children of all ages including, Teen Bookworks, which is a book club for 12 -16 year-olds, Story Hour for 3-5-year-olds, rhymes, songs and stories in English for 1-3-year-olds and Sunday Story Circle. (RL)
