Amy is a qualified UK trained psychologist, with a master in psychotherapy and is a certified mindfulness instructor and perinatal psychologist. She offers warm and caring individual therapy based support for mothers / families. She also runs an English speaking mindful mothers group and mindfulness courses in general via ES Mindfulness. Mindfulness is the gentle effort to be consciously present with your experience. Benefits of learning mindfulness or taking mindfulness based psychotherapy include reduction in anxiety, stress, depression, phobia, trauma, pain and irritability as well as increasing overall wellbeing, personal growth, emotional regulation, calm and equanimity. Due to her conviction to empower women, Amy has focused on working in the perinatal area. That includes supporting women and family mental health through: fertility/pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, normal birth or after birth trauma, post partum and infant mental health including therapy for stress, post partum depression, anxiety, OCD or any difficulty around pregnancy and the first years of the babies life.
