The Palais de la Porte Dorée is an exhibit hall located on the edge of the Bois de Vincennes. It now houses the Cité nationale de l’histoire de l’immigration, as well as a tropical aquarium in its cellar. The Aquarium houses 5,000 animals and more than 300 species: fresh and seawater fish, aquatic life from Africa, South America and Asia, crocodiles, sharks and piranhas. They have occasional workshops and events for children.
