Starting in 2012, students in post-obligatory education study a double title curriculum through the local Batxillerat as well as the International Baccalaureate system, allowing them to apply to universities in Spain and throughout the world.

Curriculum

Students can enroll in Spain’s national Baccalaureate (Bachillerato) programme, or in the International Baccalaureate Diploma programme. To read more about Spain’s national curriculum, visit our Education in Spain page. To read more about the final years of education, read here.

The school prides itself on its plurilingual model, where from nursery students begins to progressively work on languages by integrating them into daily life in a natural way. During secondary school, the model is complemented with a study programme based on works of world literature which serves as a real introduction to the values of different literary cultures. Languages are also used as tools for learning in certain subjects.

At the end of secondary education, students can sit the official exams of the Institut Français (Delf B2 or higher) and the British Council (Cambridge First Certificate or higher). In the IB programme, subjects are taught in Catalan, Spanish and English. As a foreign language, students can choose French or English.

The school is based between the Sarria and Pedralbes outskirts of Barcelona, and is a 25 minute drive from the city centre.
