Berlin Bilingual School (BBS) is an international school for bilingual children aged 6 to 18.

About

The Primary School is a short walk from Alexanderplatz, in Berlin-Friedrichshain and teaching is based on the Berlin State Curriculum (Berliner Rahmenlehrplan) and the International Primary Curriculum (IPC).

BBS secondary school students can obtain qualifications in both English and German at the end of Grade 10, 11 and 13. Students in grade 9 and 10 are prepared for the Mittlere Schulabschluss (MSA) (assessed in Grade 10) and the Edexcel International General Certificate of Secondary Education (iGCSE). Students in Grades 12 and 13 are prepared for the Abitur and A-Level qualifications.

The school is a fantastic option for international families in Berlin who are raising their children with English and German in the capital city.

Fees

School fees at BBS are based on family income, starting at €100 monthly and up to €513 monthly depending on the age of the child and family income bracket. See more information on primary fees here and secondary fees here.

Admissions

A good command of German and English is a prerequisite for admission, as students must be able to follow a school program taught in both languages.

The school has a high number of applicants and so admissions enquiries should be made early in the preceding academic year.
