The Berlin British School is an independent private school that offers a combination of British, International Baccalaureate (IB) and German curriculums to pupils aged 2-18.
At Primary School, the school offers two separate programmes:
In years 10 and 11 the school offers a number of International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) courses, and will in the near future offer the German MSA (Mittlerer Schulabschluss).
In Years 12 and 13, the school offers the internationally-recognised IB Diploma Program (IBDP).

The school does not stipulate an admissions policy, but has an online portal for initial enquiries and applications to the school.
The school has a primary school based in the former Charlottenburg First School, a British military school in Charlottenburg, which opened in September 1994 after the departure of the Allies. The school has another campus at Havelchaussee, a woodland site with purpose-built accommodation ideally suited for small children. In September 2000, the school moved into a large campus at Am Postfenn to accomodate its secondary school students.
