Berlin Metropolitan School is the oldest international school in the centre of Berlin, and is an IB World School for pupils aged 3 – 18.
Berlin Metropolitan School (BMS) is home to 1,000 students from 52 countries attend BMS and learn a mix of international and national curriculum programmes.
The Berlin Metropolitan School is an all-day school, allowing students from kindergarten through 12th grade to complete a largely bilingual programme that culminates in the internationally recognised IB Diploma Program.
BMS is a recognised member of the international school community and is actively engaged in the Association of German International Schools, the European Council of International Schools and the Council of International Schools.
BMS is a certified IB World School, certified Cambridge Exam Centre, a state-recognised substitute school as certified by the Berlin Senate for grades 1 to 10, as well as a supplementary school for grades 11 and 12.

The school is located in the central Mitte borough of Berlin, and is within walking distance of both the Berlin Cathedral and the Brandenburg Gate.

My son went to this school fro the age of 13 and graduated last year with an excellent IB. I found the school to be excellent, teachers good, some very inspiring, a very good community feel to the school and felt that the staff really cared for my son and his potential. I wholeheartedly recommend the school.
