The Bilingual European School (BES) is the first and only bilingual school in Milan that integrates the Ministry program of MIUR with the Primary Years Program (PYP) of the IBO, both in Italian and in English. The Middle School continues and consolidates the path of primary school, through interdisciplinary teaching and the development of critical skills of the XXI century. The educational project of BES uses the teaching methodology developed by Project Zero, at the University of Harvard. BES hosts a Bruno Munari ® visual arts laboratory and it is also accredited as LEGO® Education Innovation Studio. The teaching staff of BES is composed of Italian teachers and native English speakers. The school is characterized by a cutting-edge teaching approach, enriched by constructivist teaching. The iPad 1:1 program integrates and supports traditional educational tools.
