Bilingual Montessori School of Paris
The Bilingual Montessori School of Paris is an independent, not-for-profit organization, and is the oldest bilingual Montessori school in France. It teaches children from 2-12 years of age.
The Bilingual Montessori School of Paris was founded in 1972, teaching the method of education developed by Italian physician and educator Maria Montessori. A Montessori education is unique in its profound respect for a child’s sincere desire and ability to learn, and in its recognition of his need for independence. A balanced attention to intellectual, physical, emotional and spiritual development is regarded as fundamental to their progress and enjoyment in learning. Children have an innate curiosity and love of work, and of order, that can become life-long traits if encouraged appropriately. The schools implements a mixed-age, open classroom policy where to encourage cooperation between children.
