BODYFIT is a Barcelona and Maresme based fitness company that encourages locals to take full advantage of the gorgeous climate and enjoy a fit and healthy lifestyle. Run by the ever-upbeat and energetic Michelle Prayle who offers dynamic group classes as well as personally tailored fitness & nutrition programs for men and women on a 1-1 basis, offering clients both indoor and outdoor fitness training. Having trained and qualified with the YMCA in London as a personal trainer and a group instructor, Michelle has over 15 years of experience in the health and fitness industry. With a passion for healthy living and fitness she has continually studied and now also specialises in pelvic floor training to accompany women through pre and postpartum and generally offer advice and support at each and every stage of their life cycles via specifically adapted training programmes. At BodyFit, Michelle uses her extensive knowledge of fitness in order to train in an effective, safe and enjoyable way by setting realistic and achievable goals, whether it is weight loss, muscle tone, cardio fitness or all three.

    Love Michelle’s classes in the Maresme. Plenty of variety: cardio and body conditioning, pelvic floor and core work, interval training, sometimes at the beach and sometimes TRX in the park. Michelle is super enthusiastic, adapts the classes to suit all levels and on top of all that it is a great group of women to work out with. (Jane Mitchell)

    Michelle has been fantastic. Her no nonsense but encouraging approach has kept me motivated and feeling good all while feeling “the burn.” She creates a very comfortable and focused environment which means I look forward to her classes every week. And, regardless of your fitness level, she works to help you work at your optimum to get to where you want to be. She always gives practical advise on how to get the most from her sessions, both in terms of exercise and diet. And best of all…. the results!! Thank you Michelle!!! (Niamh)

    Estoy muy contenta con las clases de gimnasia de Michelle. Es exactamente lo que me hacía falta después de haber tenido un bebe: Volver a hacer ejercicio, al aire libre, en un grupo reducido con otras mamas y con ejercicios adaptados pero a la vez efectivos (challenging). Michelle es una muy buena coach que sabe motivarnos. Después de 7 clases mi cuerpo ha notado la diferencia y estoy motivada a seguir haciendo deporte! (Christelle)

    Michelle is the most motivating instructor I have ever worked with. She is also fun, energetic and funny so we are constantly entertained during her classes. Her knowledge of fitness and health is in-depth so her approach is totally holistic. She always takes into account people’s levels of fitness and can adapt exercises accordingly. I’ve also had a pelvic floor session with her which was excellent – again amazing knowledge and great guidance on how to keep this part of the body healthy for the future. Highly recommend both her group and one-to-one classes!
