Bouconne Forest, Pibrac

The Bouconne forest is located in southwest France, on the border of the departments of Gers and Haute-Garonne about thirty kilometres west of Toulouse. The forest is huge, complete with kids play area, swimming pool and lake and is popular with walkers, mountain bikers and horse riders. There are endless possibilities for outdoor activities.

    My favourite place to go outside Toulouse. Getting back to nature, the kids pick up twigs and run through the forest looking at bugs and nature. Take a picnic and eat in the woods, the kids run themselves exhausted and fall asleep happy on the way home. (Mads Bondegaard)
