The breastfeeding support group in Jávea is now a private Facebook group. The in person breastfeeding support group was put on hold due to Covid restrictions. There may be a La Leche Group set up at some point in the future. For more information and support join the private Facebook group Mama’s Milk – Leche de Mama’s – Breastfeeding and Infant Feeding Support which has been set up to provide free, volunteer peer led support to families who are breastfeeding or offering some breast milk to their babies. The group offers access to information and support that is research and evidence based. All information shared within the group and on the Facebook page is evidence based and complies with both UNICEF and WHO. The group also offers mother to mother friendship and support, in a safe and friendly atmosphere.
