Britannia International School of Rome, founded in 1987, is a private International Primary school located in the south of Rome.
The school provides an English education for children from 3-11 years old, with a model based on the English national curriculum. The school covers Key Stage 1 and 2. Classes are taught by qualified English mother-tongue teachers.
The school offers an optional programme for native Italian-speaking children to prepare for Italian examinations alongside the English curriculum. The lessons are maximum 5 hours per week and extra work must be done at home.

The school’s only admissions criteria is an ‘evaluation of the child’s ability to benefit from the school’. Admissions forms can be found here.

The school is located in the Municipio Roma IX district, and is a 30-minute drive south from Rome city centre.
