The Canadian School of Florence is a co-educational private international school for children aged 3 to 18 years in the heart of Tuscany.

About The Canadian School of Florence

The school opened its first campus in Florence in 2017 with the Senior School, followed by the Kindergarten and Elementary School in 2021, and later by the Middle School in 2022.

The school follows the Canadian Ontario curriculum and hosts a unique mix of international students and local Italian students. Small class sizes strengthen the inclusive approach to education, allowing each student to develop their sense of excellence, trust, integrity, fairness, and compassion.

Our educators teach the globally recognised Canadian Ontario curriculum, combining it with the Reggio Emilia approach at our Kindergarten, the Italian Paritaria programme at our Junior and Middle Schools and with other international educational best practices and standards at our Senior School to help prepare students for admission to the most prestigious universities all over the world.

The Canadian School of Florence fosters an inclusive and nurturing environment, celebrating diversity and inspiring personal growth, enabling students to unlock their true potential and positively shape the world.

Teachers provide personalised teaching and individual care, together with empathetic engagement and hands-on experiential teaching that enables curiosity, creativity, and innovative thinking.

Students enjoy engaging field trips, extracurricular activities and excursions to enhance curriculum outside the classroom.

The Canadian School of Florence belongs to the Globeducate network, one of the leading international K12 education groups in the world, a network of 55+ premium bilingual and international schools, as well as  online programmes, educating 31,000 students in over ten countries. A fundamental aim of Globeducate is to prepare each student to become a global citizen who can shape the world.
