Carmen de Miguel Flamenco for Kids

December 14, 2018 | Activities, Andalucia, Granada, Spain

When not performing herself (and if you ever see flyers advertising her shows, they are not to be missed), Carmen de Miguel teaches dance to learners of all ages. With fifteen years of teaching children under her belt, her kids’ flamenco classes (for ages 4-14 years) push learners and yet always remain accessible and lots of fun. They are taught in the Centro Civico of the Albaicin, days/ times as follows: Tuesdays 17.00- 18.00 and Fridays 16.00- 17.00

Carmen can make any dance steps fun! My son did a drop-in class as he was accompanying his friends last week, and he came back beaming about all he’d learned in one hour. The kids are made to feel like they’re part of a team while there and if they keep at it, there’s a chance they can perform their moves at the Centro Civico’s Christmas show.
