The British School of Seville (Colegio Británico de Sevilla – CBS) was founded in 2009 and offers the British National Curriculum with inspections by the British Council and authorised by the Ministry of Education of the Junta de Andalucía.
The British curriculum at the British School of Seville is based on the National Curriculum of England and Wales. Most classes are taught in English, which is the essence of a British school, but Spanish culture is also an integral part of the education system and subjects such as Spanish Language and Literature, History and Geography follow the same levels as the Spanish Educational System.
The school offers British education nursery to sixth form, catering for children from ages 0 – 18. The school is a member of the National Association for British Schools in Spain (NABSS) and also recognised as a Cambridge International School, which means students can graduate with Cambridge International qualifications that can help achieve a place at universities worldwide. The Duke of Edinburgh award is also available.
Students regular achieve outstanding results in the Cambridge International School qualifications. According to the British School of Seville’s website, last year a student achieved top marks worldwide in the IGCSE Foreign Language Spanish. Students have in previous years won top in Spain in Mathematics, as well as top in the world for AS Level Travel & Tourism.

Great school! My daughter studies there since 2009 and she’s very happy! She speaks fluently spanish and english and also learns German. The school is located in a beautiful natural environment and it’s like a family. The teachers are great too and all we can say is Thank you!
