Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte is a baroque French château located in Maincy, near Melun, 55 kilometres southeast of Paris. As well as entering the Chateau you can explore the formal gardens and visit the Carriage Museum. Audio guides avalable and children may wear a costume, available at the front desk, while touring the château (from size 2 years and up for a charge of 4€). Other activities specifically for children include costumed guided visits (in French only), workshops, and a game booklet to accompany the visit.
