Classico Portraits, founded by Kirstie McConnell gives families the opportunity to relive their family travel experience through timeless wall art and albums. Think about that blank wall above the dining room table. Imagine a big framed photograph there. It’s your favorite from your entire time in Italy (maybe ever). It brings back memories of the adventure you shared together. The kids are covered in dirt after successfully foraging for porcini! Or perhaps you’re all fumbling with orbs of pizza dough, covered with flour and giggling. Maybe it’s all of you playing by the pool or racing on vespas?

Whatever activity you’re doing, the image captures the love and happiness between you all. 

That’s what Classico Portraits creates for families on vacation and now for expats, through the Calling Italy Home project. Kirstie documents your favourite memories, so that you can relive these moments forever through timeless wall art and bespoke albums delivered to your door – worldwide. 

“If you’re visiting Italy, I’d love to create something special for you. And if you’re currently living here, you’re invited to join this unique project. Calling Italy Home is highlighting the stories of 50 expats and their stories in a coffee table book. The unique photography project celebrates all you’ve accomplished and overcome to settle into your new life in Italy. Some of us moved for adventure, some for love, and others simply in search of belonging. What we share is our love of this new life in Italy. The photo session and the book are about recognizing your journey, with all its ups and downs, toward embracing Italy as Home.”
