Dr. Katja Freitag, Gynaecologist & Obstetrician

Since 2004 Dr. Katja Freitag has been practicing as a specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics in an independent group practice together with Dr. Bettina von Schacky and since 2013 with Barbara Henselmann. During pregnancy she gives regular check-ups including advice on nutrition, sports and travelling, gestational diabetes, oedema (excess fluid accumulation in the body), varicose veins, toxoplasmosis, streptococcal infections etc. and all prenatal tests. She works alongside a midwife and nutritionist. She also sets aside consulting hours for teenagers. She speaks German, English and Italian.
