Diana Powell Bodrone, Midwife and Lactation Consultant

Diana Powell Bodrone is a an Irish Midwife and Lactation Consultant living and working in Paris and the wider Ile de France region. Diane works in both English and French and has extensive experience in Midwifery, Neonatal Care, Lactation Consultancy, Hospital and Community work in numerous countries around the world. 

Before the baby arrives, Diane begins with a general discussion to get to know you, your birth plans and where you would like to give birth with an in-depth conversation about what happens in France and the local system and process. She also conducts antenatal check-ups for mum and baby (with foetal monitoring on request), and either one-to-one or group preparation classes, tailored to your unique needs. 

After the baby arrives, Diane offers postpartum visits at home, providing thorough postnatal checks, explaining the next steps within the French system as well as support and care such as breastfeeding support.
