El Limonar International School, Murcia

The school teaches the English national curriculum with about 80% of the school day taught in English. Students are prepared for taking their iGCSE exams at the end of Key Stage 4 (16 years of age) and then for A Level exams before leaving for university (18 years) if desired.

The remaining 20% of the school day is taught by native Spanish teachers offering obligatory Spanish national subjects for students to optionally obtain the Spanish ‘Graduate in Compulsory Secondary Education’ (ESO) and ‘Baccalaureate’ (Bachillerato) qualifications alongside their English ones. This prepares students to apply to universities in both Spain and the UK and across the world.

The school is a member of NABSS (National Association for British Schools in Spain), is recognised by the Spanish Ministry of Education and is an approved examining centre for Edexcel and AQA as well as being a Preparation Centre for Cambridge English Examinations and Trinity College Examinations. The school is part of the Cognita group’s European division and with the Villamartín campus make up 2 of 8 Cognita schools in Spain.
