Elian’s British School in La Nucía opened in September 2002 and is part of the well-established Iale-Elian’s Educational Group. Along with its sister school in Castellón, Elian’s teaches the English national curriculum for pupils from nursery to sixth form (3 -18 years).
Both Elian’s British School are private, co-educational and teach the English national curriculum from nursery through to sixth form.
From secondary school, pupils also study subjects from the Spanish curriculum: Spanish Language, Social Sciences, Valenciano and Mathematics. At the end of Year 11, students take iGCSE exams in at least 8 subjects. Students’ results can also be recognised by the Spanish authorities and, if they meet requirements, can receive the Graduado en Educación Secundaria Obligatoria.
In sixth form students take A Level courses but also Spanish national Pruebas de Competencia Específica (PCE) courses to prepare them for applications to both British and Spanish universities, as well as universities across the world.

The school is non-selective and open to admissions by prospective parents. The process can be started by filling out an online admissions form.
Elian’s British School in La Nucía is a 40-minute drive north of Alicante city, and is just inland from Benidorm city on the Costa Blanca.
