Ermita de San Miguel, Granada

October 22, 2018 | Activities, Andalucia, Granada, Spain

If you have a baby carrier or slightly older kids who are good walkers, check out the mighty Alhambra from a totally different vantage point -Ermita de San Miguel. The church perches on top of the Sacromonte Hill above the barrios of Sacromonte and The Albaicin and is accessible either by steps from the Albaicin’s Calle Cruz de la Rauda or by walking up from the Carril de San Miguel. You’ll see The Alhambra opposite, the city beyond and the Sierra Nevada peaks.

A wonderful thing to do on a sunny day, which is most days here in Andalucia, even when it’s cold! In fact, now there’s snow on the Sierra Nevada I’d say this is the most beautiful time to go;just wrap up warm.
