Es Grau Beach

October 30, 2017 | Activities, Balearics, Spain

Situated to the north of Mahon, Es Grau is a large sandy beach backed by dunes and pines, leading to salt water lakes and marshes of the S’Albufera national park. The sea is very shallow and almost always calm making it ideal for small children to paddle, whilst teenagers can experience sea kayaking, stand up paddle boarding or snorkelling. The small fishing village of Es Grau has a few bars, restaurants and shops.

Es Grau beach is super as its really shallow for miles. Very good for toddlers and those that can’t swim. (Alexia Haramis)
