Expath

Expath equips people with the knowledge and skills to meet the challenge of moving abroad. Founded in 2012 in Berlin, Expath is run by people who relocated and built a new life themselves. They have a core international team made of 35 people from 15 countries and also work with hundreds of coaches, teachers and translators.

Relocation packages: personal Expath relocation coaches help individual clients start their new life abroad. If you have just moved to Germany, you can book a coach to help you with anything from address registration, setting up a bank account and translating and interpreting at official appointments, to searching for a flat or finding a school or kindergarten for your children.

Immigration Services: Expath also support companies hiring international staff. They can assist with the process of obtaining a visa or German residence permit for their employees by handling all the relevant paperwork for them. Services start pre-arrival and continue after the new hire has relocated to Germany and include detailed support such as pre-checking case eligibility and work permit type, degree recognition, checking documents for visa approval, completing required application form, and everything needed to help the employees settle in and hit the ground running.

Language Training: Expath believe that the best way to learn a language is to speak it and their German courses emphasise speaking. Lessons are designed around your daily needs, so that you can use the newly learned content the moment you step outside the class. You can choose a German course for any level from beginner to advanced, in small groups, online or in-person at one of their schools in Berlin. They also offer one-to-one courses and self-learning modules to study at your own pace.
