Family Plus

Family + is a service dedicated to providing families with support and assistance at home, including childcare, cleaning and ironing services. There are several branches of the agency across Lyon, offering several types of childcare adapted to families’ individual requirements, as well as after school pick-ups and help with homework.

Useful for working parents, Family + offer out of school care in the morning, midday, after school or on Wednesdays. Support for extra-curricular activities, outings to the park and after school appointments are also part of the Family + after-school childcare service.

Family + also have a tutoring service offering general tuition for primary age children and specialised classes for secondary students. The Family + school support service is different from simple homework help: it really involves sitting down with the student to work together and not just simply checking the homework.

Weekly household cleaning includes bathrooms, kitchen, bedroom and living room or a more thorough service is offered to include the inside of the fridge, cupboards, and wardrobes. A laundry care and ironing service is also available along with help with meals (light shopping and food preparation.
