Classic Bavarian restaurant in neo-Renaissance building, with large beer garden and Hofbräuhaus beer. Great importance is attached to family-friendliness: every day from noon to 8 pm (at weekends from 10 am) the Kinderland is open with a monitor to look after children of all ages. Here children can play, while their parents enjoy their meal. Note: the Kinderland will be closed from January until April 2018 for reconstruction.

In terms of food not the very best Munich has to offer but the huge plus is you can eat in peace whilst your children play in a dedicated area with ball pit, arts/crafts, toys and books. In the winter this is inside but they move it outside in the summer. They have monitors so you really can “enjoy” your food whilst the kids play. (Lucinda Smart)
