The International School of Florence (ISF) teaches International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes to pupils aged 3 – 18.

The International School of Florence (ISF) was founded in 1952. The school teaches pupils ages 3 to 18 in English in the renaissance Italian city of Florence. The school is a non-profit organisation.

The school teaches the IB’s Primary Years Programme (PYP) during primary school, followed by a pre-IB preparatory curriculum in middle years and culminating in the IB Diploma Program at High School. An integrated Italian equivalency program (grades 1 through 8) is available for Italian-speaking students who wish to prepare for and take the Italian Terza Media exam.

The school has an enrollment of close to 500 students on two campuses, and is comprised of families from over thirty countries, including about 40% of Italian citizens.

ISF is fully accredited both by the Council of International Schools and the Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges.

School fees range from €12,900 to €26,300. See an overview of the 2021-22 academic year tuition fees here.
