The International School of Siena is an IB World School teaching pupils ages 3 to 18 years old in Siena, in Tuscany, Italy.

About

The International School of Siena is the only International Baccalaureate (IB) school teaching pupils from ages 3 to 18 in the region of Tuscany in Italy. The school opened in 2010 and included the IB Diploma Program for high school students in 2019.

After a decade of applications, the school is authorised to teach the three main IB programmes:

Primary Years Program (PYP) for ages 3-11
Middle Years Program (MYP) for ages 11-16
Diploma Program (DP) for ages 16-18

The school is part of the prestigious Inspired group of schools, for which one in three Inspired students go on to the very best Russell Group and Ivy League schools in the UK and the USA. Students at Inspired schools also have the benefits of special rates for university counselling.

Fees

Admissions

Students can be admitted to the school at any time of the academic year (with the exception of students joining the IB Diploma Programme in Grades 12 and 13) and decisions are primarily based on a student’s prior school record (where appropriate) and a personal interview in which students and their families can demonstrate a commitment to the Core Values of the school.

The school is located a short 20-minute drive southeastwards from Florence city centre.
