What should I look for in a tutor?

Strong subject knowledge is naturally important, but what really makes the difference is teaching experience and an understanding of how children learn.

While academic progress is important, the biggest shift I often see is in mindset. Students who begin by saying “I’m not good at this” start to approach challenges more positively.
