Valentino II and Valentina II are air-conditioned boats dedicated to short cruises on the River Po. They have transparent roofs and sides giving passengers fantastic views of the river and the surrounding areas. The boats have good accessibility, space for prams and buggies and can seat up to 78 people. For seated passengers there is an audio guide available in five different languages, giving an overview of the trip and commentary about the city. From March the boats run daily from Murazzi, stopping at the Borgo Medioevale and then on to Italia ’61, the renovated automobile museum, with the earliest boats departing at 10.00am. During the summer months evening cruises are also available. Tickets for the boat trips can be purchased on board or at the designated GTT kiosks at Murazzi.

This is a really nice, relaxing way to see the city from another perspective. The hop-on hop-off service is great if you have a return ticket so you can spend as much time as you like wandering about once you get off the boat. (Lyn Gladwin)
