Touching, trying out, playing, discovering new things – all this is expressly permitted in the Labyrinth Children’s Museum Berlin. The museum sees itself as an extracurricular learning and cultural location for children, families and educators. The centrepiece of the museum are interactive exhibitions for children from 3-11 years. In addition there are projects, holiday programs, children’s birthdays, events and exhibition rental space.

Another great children’s museum located in an old match factory in Wedding. Hands-on learning experiences have been made attractive and varied. It is recommended to bring some house socks or slippers for your children. The staff is very friendly and there’s a nice little cafe. (Ariana Sargent)
Arrived at 11am thinking we would stay for two hours… Finally left at 3pm with a very happy and satisfied almost three year old. Really encourages free and independent play. She loved the dress up, building with the soft boxes, the arts and craft workshop and the puppet theatre. Only thing I would do differently is bring a good book as after two hours of playing with me she just wanted to do her own thing and would have packed a more substantial lunch as the food there is just snacks (not overpriced tho). Was getting pretty full by the time we left but it is Christmas holidays. Has a lot more going on, physically and conceptually than your average indoor playground. (MM)
