Fun & Nature by Lake Maggiore

Enjoy a mix of aquatic thrills and outdoor adventure just steps from the beautiful shores of Lake Maggiore. AquaAdventure Park Baveno (also referred to as Lago Maggiore Adventure Park) is a family-friendly park offering water fun, pools, slides and outdoor activity spaces in a scenic lakeside setting. There are a variety of activities for children and adults including different level suspension courses, climbing walls, Acro-Jump trampolines and cycling courses.

What to expect:

Location & Access: Set in Baveno (province of Verbania, Italy), the park is very accessible – right near the Baveno exit of the A26 highway (“Genova-Gravellona Toce”).

Facilities:

A swimming area (piscina) with regular open hours. Water slides (acquascivoli) active on weekends. Outdoor areas available by reservation which are ideal for groups or special events.

Opening Times:

Pool: Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 8:30 to 20:00; Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00 to 20:00; Saturday 8:30-18:00; Sunday & holidays 10:00-18:00.

Water slides: only on Saturdays and Sundays (14:30–17:30)

The frequency of pool hours, weekend water-slide fun and scenic environment make it especially good for younger children or for families looking for a laid-back water + nature day out. Combine with other Lake Maggiore explorations: because it’s near Baveno and accessible from main roads, it can be part of a broader day trip around the lake – beaches, nature walks, lakeside cafés and villages.

Park is open from March to November from 10am to 7pm. If you drive from Milan you take the A8-Laghi A26 direction Gravellona Toce, exit Baveno/Stresa. Great for kids with lots of energy! (Julia Fielding)
