Located just by Joanic Metro station, Lalola is bright and clean with comfortable booths and quick, friendly service. They serve all day – coffees and pastries in the morning, tapas, a menú del día at lunchtime and all-day al la carte.

This café/bar/restaurant is my local lifesaver when the fridge is empty or I just can’t be bothered cooking. Dishes are simple and satisfying with plenty of kid-friendly options. Truly one of my favourite restaurants in Barcelona. (Annette Pacey)
