London Education Online School
LEO School, London Education Online School, is a British online school for international families who want a structured, high-quality education that can travel with them wherever they live. We welcome students aged 5 to 18 and follow the UK National Curriculum and Cambridge International pathway, from Primary through to IGCSE and A Level.
Curriculum
Our curriculum is designed to give students a clear academic route while preserving the flexibility modern families often need. In Primary, pupils build strong foundations in English, Maths, Science and a broad range of subjects. At Key Stage 3, students continue with a structured British curriculum that prepares them for the demands of IGCSE. At IGCSE and A Level, students work towards internationally recognised Cambridge qualifications that support progression to universities in the UK and worldwide.
What makes LEO School distinctive is that we are not a passive online learning platform. Lessons are live, interactive and taught by experienced teachers with strong knowledge of the British and Cambridge curriculum. Students follow a timetable, complete homework, receive teacher feedback and are monitored academically. Small class sizes allow teachers to know their pupils and support them properly.
“LEO School is not an online platform where children are left to study alone. We are a structured British school with live teaching, academic oversight and a real school community, designed for families whose lives are international, but whose expectations remain high.” – Pauline Denson, PR & Communications Lead at LEO School
Full Time and Part Time Options
Families can choose the format that best fits their child’s circumstances. Some students join LEO School full-time as their main school. Others study selected subjects with us alongside a local school. We also offer a Supported Distance Study Programme for students who need more flexibility, including internationally mobile families, elite athletes, performers, frequent travellers or children with individual scheduling needs. This format allows students to study at a distance while still following a serious academic pathway with school support.
English Language Support
For students who are not yet ready to study fully in English, LEO School offers English as a Second Language support and a gradual transition into academic subjects. New students normally begin with an English level test and, depending on age and programme, an online consultation or interview. Families may also be asked to provide recent school reports and a passport copy as part of the admissions process.
Extracurricular Activities and House System
Beyond academics, LEO School gives students a sense of belonging through its House System, school competitions, extracurricular activities and educational meet-ups in London. Our aim is to combine the structure and ambition of a British school with the flexibility international families need — without compromising academic standards, community or university progression.
Fees and Admissions
LEO School fees vary by year group and programme. For the 2026 to 2027 academic year, annual tuition starts from £5,445 for KS1 and rises to £8,250 for IGCSE and A Level programmes.
