Each of my daughters and I took a cooking class from Jennifer and it was an amazing experience. My girls are 8 and 11 years old and Jennifer was happy to have them take the classes with me. Jennifer is a wealth of knowledge and taught us so much about traditional Umbrian dishes and cooking in general. The menus were 4 courses, with fresh, local, in-season ingredients at a beautiful location in Cannara. And she was flexible with the cooking menu too. We had a couple Italian dishes we really wanted to learn how to make and she was absolutely willing to teach them to us. For example, we made a wonderful wine biscotti called roccetti with a recipe from a nonna in Cannara that Jennifer had never done before but she was totally willing to show us how to make it since it has been our favorite Italian treat here. She is really fun to cook with, very patient, and a day with her is SO enjoyable and memorable. We HIGHLY recommend Jennifer as your cooking expert and teacher in Umbria!! You go home SO full after lunch and with leftovers after a wonderful day of learning. (Andrea)
