Lycée Français Bel Air, established in 1992, is a privately owned and operated school which receives no state funding nor subsidies. It has been recognised and certified by the Ministère de l’Éducation Nationale Française. Students commence their schooling in Nursery school (P3) and continue until their university preparatory studies in secondary, achieving diplomas in both the French and Spanish education system upon graduation. Lycée Français Bel Air is a secular, multilingual and multicultural school proud of its achievements and recognition. Lycée Français Bel Air has been registered as a foreign-based school in Spain and has been authorised by the competent authority. The possibility to teach both the Catalan and Spanish language and culture was attained through an agreement between France and Spain. Lycée Français Bel Air is already a preparation centre for Cambridge English examinations and has also taken the initiative to provide training for other international exams such as TOEFL and Oxford.
