20 Feb Lycée Français de Barcelone
The Lycée Français de Barcelone opened its doors in Barcelona in 1924. It is managed by the Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE). The curriculum is certifed by the French Ministry of Education and, in accordance with the French education system, goes from nursery to Baccalauréat. The LFB is recognised and authorised by the Spanish government, and incorporates all the programmes required by the Franco- Hispanic cultural agreements. The school philosophy is based on the shared values of a democratic society: respect for others, autonomy, responsibility, trust, respecting differences, secularism, solidarity, equity and tolerance. The overall goal is for each student to be an actor of: their learning and education, the elaboration of their personal and professional project, and their participation within an open society.
