The Montessori method of education was developed by an Italian physician named Maria Montessori in the early 20th century, because establishing the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) in 1929. The pedagogy views children as capable of initiating their own desire for learning in a sufficiently supportive and well-prepared environment. Teachers are often called Guides, with children leading their own learning. Grades and tests that pit students against one another to create hierarchies are discouraged.
Tuition fees start at 533 monthly for the Infant Community (850 for full days), 795 monthly for the Children’s House (895 for full days), and 926 monthly for the Elementary Program. For a full overview of fees click here.
