Manada Gori-Gori

Manada Gori-Gori is a self-run educational community created by and for families who wish to raise their children 2 to 6 years old in a respectful way within a caring and child-centered environment inspired by different alternative school models.

Gori-Gori was born in 2014 as a shared upbringing group formed by 10 families (and 11 Goris) who wanted to get actively involved in the education of their kids and share the adventure of growth with other families.

The philosophy of Manada Gori-Gori is for parents to spend as much time as possible with their kids providing them the best caring possible.

Two professional counsellors, plus two families look after a maximum of 21 children each day.

It is not clear whether the school is open to non Spanish-speaker, however one of the two main teachers at the nursery speaks English.

Location

The Manada Gori-Gori is home to children mainly from the Gracia and Putget i Farró districtis of Barcelona, just a 10 minute drive from the city centre.
