In 2020 Dzhangar Sanzhiev founded MatchFamilies, the world’s first app to help families find and connect with other compatible families to make friends. Dzhangar relocated to Germany in 2016 with his wife and 2 young daughters. The family wanted to make new friends as quickly as possible so he created an app to make the process and quick and as easy as possible. Dzhangar hopes the MatchFamilies App will become a useful and valuable tool for families and couples who want to expand their social circle.
MatchFamilies is an online platform where:
- All families and couples with or without children, and single parents are open and interested to make friends (because it can be awkward to ask to be friends) and they live nearby
- You can quickly find people of the same age group, with similar interests, habits and values, speaking the same languages and with kids of the same age and gender
- You can chat with them and arrange a meetup – hiking trips, picnics or whatever you like
Attend local events or playground dates organised by families near you
Get tips and recommendations about day-to-day life in your city
Dzhangar’s goal is to help families meet their perfect matches, improve their social life and be part of a supportive community, helping to eradicate isolation and loneliness.
Dzhangar and his team welcome feedback and recommendations to keep the app as user friendly as possible. The app is available on both Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
What we like about them
In their own words
When you move to a new city or country, you leave your social circle behind and you need to build a new one from scratch. It’s inevitable, it takes a lot of time and effort, and a lot of it depends on good luck. And so I thought – how could this process be easier? I was hoping that maybe there was a nice app that could help us find matching people (we all use apps for all kinds of stuff, right?) However, there was nothing – I found hundreds of apps for singles but nothing for married people or couples. So I decided to create one!” Dzhangar Sanzhiev
