Established in 1901, the maternity hospital is run by a community of nuns. They work alongside a medical, nursing and administrative team. You will find everything here from prenatal diagnosis to post maternity care. They have a natural birthing room with a bathtub, a bench to lie down, sit or stretch and a liana – a stretching system relieves pressure on the back and frees the pelvis to facilitate the descent of the baby.
