About

The Metropolitan School Frankfurt is an international school with a broad and diverse curriculum.

The school is an IB World School, authorised by the International Baccalaureate, offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Diploma Programmes for high school students. In addition, the school is accredited by Cambridge International Education to offer the iGCSE programmes, and is an authorised Cambridge Examination Centre. The school also benefits from special authorisation as an anerkannte Ersatzschule and by the City of Frankfurt as a genehmigter und geförderter Kindergarten, allowing it to prepare students for national German qualifications. The German programme course from Grades 1-10 is equivalent to the Rahmenlehrpläne Hessen and the Nationale Bildungsstandards. The school is not, however, a bilingual school.
