With participants aged 15 to 20 from over 150 countries, the organisation inspires young leaders to think big, learn, and take action for a better future.

Moonshot Pirates firmly believe in the potential of every individual to make a difference. They seek bold, courageous, and authentic young people who are willing to succeed on their own terms while having a positive impact in the world.

About the Shape the Future challenge:

The Shape the Future challenge invites young individuals between the ages of 15 and 20 to showcase their creativity, passion, and drive to positively impact the world. Participants are encouraged to think big and drive change in areas such as energy, sustainable agriculture, and eco-innovation. The winning team will go to Silicon Valley to learn first-hand about current technological developments and meet founders and organisations to help them develop their ideas further.

Past participants of the challenge have gone on to undertake internships at top companies such as NASA, received funding for their impact-driven ideas, and gained acceptance to prestigious universities such as USC and Stanford.

Moonshot Pirates are also a sponsor of the upcoming 4Voices Public Speaking event in Barcelona, which will be held on 27 April at Barcelona’s prestigious CosmoCaixa auditorium. Young people from schools across the region will take to the stage to speak about the important topic: ‘The Digital Jungle: navigating the online world’.
